Been coming to Hemlock Campgrounds for over 6 years! The owners Barb and Craig are the friendliest people and they are willing to go above and beyond for you to enjoy your stay. They take pride in their campground and it is quite noticeable. The bathrooms are super clean and the campsites are always neat and clean and spacious. This is our favorite place to let the kids run around and its small enough that you know where they are at all times. They have fun activities including Zumba Saturday mornings. Can't wait to come back again! We wouldn't go anywhere else!
I absolutely fell in love with this place!!! Yes it is small but the sties were not cramped. You can definitely tell that the owners take pride in their campground...the sites were so well maintained and beautiful! The bath house could use a remodel but it was so clean! I have to say it is one of the best campgrounds I have ever been too (been camping for 30 plus years)!! The owners and other campers were so friendly! thank you for an awesome weekend!!!
I was up 7:30am and found the public bath house being cleaned up already and the radio was echoing in there. I like that kind of discipline and organization! And my cabin (#1) exceeded my expectation. It's surprisingly equipped with a fridge and television, and it lies comfortably somewhere between rusticity and modernity. I enjoyed the little attached bench on the terrace. It's where I ate, read and watched the rain. Staying at this site there was much privacy and tranquility. I didn't rate it five stars because it wasn't social enough for me. Most people kept to themselves or confined their activities in their RVs, and there were no shops/activities within walking distance. Too lonesome for me. But if you're looking for a retreat, this might be it.
They have quiet hours at 10, but it just means to keep everything at a reasonable volume.
A group was asked to leave when they were blasting music at 3am (they were asked several times to keep it down)
Great atmosphere, owners are awesome to be around.
Overall it was pleasent.
An amazing small campground. Woodland, peaceful and restful. Full facilities except 50 amp electric. Even comes with its own bear.
